Download Montello Fonts by Hanoded

Montello started out as an Illustrator exercise (a skill I am still learning). I made a couple of glyphs for fun, then realised it would make a nice font. The result is Montello. Montello is a classic connected script font, very neat and (in my humble opinion) not an eye-sore either.

Montello comes with a whole bunch of ligatures for letters that just wont connect nicely.

Download Symphonie Grotesque Fonts by Indian Type Foundry

Symphonie Grotesque is a family of neo-Grotesque-style sans serif fonts. There are five different weights available, ranging from Regular through Heavy. Each weight has an upright and an italic font on offer. Symphonie Grotesques italics are what really set it apart from other neo-Grotesque families.

Instead of just offering slanted, or oblique versions of the upright fonts letters, Symphonie Grotesques italic fonts include several unique, more cursive-style letterforms.

For example, in Symphonie Grotesques upright fonts, the a is double-storey, while the g is single-storey (just what one would expect for a typeface of this genre).

But in the italics, the a becomes single-storey, and the fand ß get descending tails, too.

Symphonie Grotesques numerals are tabular lining figures; the 1 always has a nice, wide base-stroke at its bottom.

The middle-two diagonal-strokes of the M remain visibly above the baseline in all of the familys styles.

The fonts ascenders rise quite a bit above the tops of the capital letters, but the capitals and the numerals both share the same height.

Symphonie Grotesque is an excellent selection for use in branding or in other kinds of corporate identity design.

It will surely also come into good use in design for galleries and publications about contemporary art.

Symphonie Grotesque is the work of Frode Helland, a type designer from Norway.

Favarotta was a small settlement on the medieval times. in the Gulf of Castellammare near Palermo, Sicily. Favarotta font is inspired on the style of writing based on Carolingian models, which continued to be used for handwritten liturgical works in Italy.

The style show close affinities with the Italian printed books of the period.

It combines Roman cursive writing ideas with some of the Celtic innovations in insular writing, including four guide lines, with strokes that flow smoothly from the ascending and descending.

Favarotta font family contain five weigh and its corresponding italics. The Italic style are clearly legible and attractively set out, without obvious idiosyncratic tendencies.

These fonts can be read and display with pleasure. Each font of the family contain standard ligatures, small caps, old style numerals and support CE languages.
