Titling Stencil JNL is an extra bold stencil treatment of R. Hunter Middleton’s ‘Karnak’ (produced in 1936 for Ludlow) and is a companion font to both Bookkeeping JNL and Bookkeeper JNL (a lightweight version of the type design).
Middleton based his ‘Karnak’ family of typefaces on the geometric slab-serif ‘Memphis’, which was designed in 1929 by Dr. Rudolf Wolf and released originally by the Stempel Type Foundry of Germany.
According to Wikipedia, ‘Karnak’ was named after the Karnak Temple Complex in Egypt, in reference to the fact that early slab serifs were often called “Egyptians” as an exoticism by nineteenth-century type founders.”
Titling Stencil JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.
Afrik is a hand painted font which letterforms were inspired by Proto-Saharan Ancient African writing system and scripts for African languages such as Mande and Vai.
Drawing technique I took from Ethiopian Tribe Karo body painting. I drew each letter with my finger using self-made paint from crushed charcoal.
Afrik is uppercase font and instead of tall capital letters uses wide. They can be used instead of double letters or just to diversify a typing. Also, I included up to 4 alternate “decorations” for most of the letters which will help you to create unique artwork (use “Contextual Alternates” feature to randomize look automatically).
Afrik perfectly fits for posters, clothes design, and any design with a wild ethnic mood.
Speedy Space Goat Oddity is the font with really interesting mood.
My purpose was to transfer freedom, immediacy, and a bit of insanity with it. I've painted it with self-made paint and brush in a trippy environment.
You can use Speedy Space Goat Oddity almost everywhere. It’s great for posters, clothes design, package design, music album covers. Also, with the right approach, you can use it as horror font.
Speedy Space Goat Oddity Features:
- Pant texture
- 2 ligatures for tt and ff
- 14 contextual alternates for most common double letters
I'm happy to present my Stormy Youth font. It has been drawn with a marker pen and a swift hand. Stormy Youth has intentionally overlapping letters to remind street style and give underground look. Initially, I planned to make it as the only uppercase, so feel free to use it this way. Stormy Youth font is great for aggressive/rebel design style for teenagers.
